Lourdes has been working in the Pediatric Dental Community for over 25 years!
Lourdes has been working in the Pediatric Dental field for over 30 years! She loves spending time with her husband, son, and grandson. More than anything else she takes great pleasure in spoiling her grandson. When Lourdes is not working, she loves to volunteer her time at her local church. Lourdes love shopping and watching a good Hallmark movie.
Meet Deno
Office Manager
Deno started with Magical Smiles Pediatric dentistry since it opened its door in 2018. He has called central Florida home for the past 20 years. Deno has 20 years of experience in management in many different fields. He completed his bachelor’s degree in psychology at Perdue University in Indianapolis, Indiana. When Deno is not working he enjoys spending time with his family, taking long weekend trips and working out at the gym. Deno also enjoys being in nature, taking pictures and learning about different cultures and languages.
Meet Vanessa
Dental Hygienist
Vanessa is a Registered Dental Hygienist who is excited to be back with the team at Magical Smiles Pediatric Dentistry. She originally began her journey with the practice in 2018 as a Dental Assistant when the office first opened, building a strong foundation in patient care.
Vanessa went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in dental Hygiene from Daytona State College, further advancing her knowledge and clinical skills. She is passionate about providing quality care.
Meet Makayla
Dental Assistant
Makayla started with us during her externship in November of 2022. Dental assisting is something that has always interested Makayla, she has a special way of dealing with kids! Makayla is a big foodie; she loves to try exotic foods and beverages. After a full day’s work, Makayla loves to go on a run as part of her daily routine.

Dental Assistant
Smaylin joined the team with a passion for helping others and creating a comfortable experience for every patient. She has a warm and caring personality that helps children feel at ease during their visits. Smaylin takes pride in supporting both patients and the dental team, ensuring each appointment runs smoothly. In her free time, she enjoys relaxing, spending time with loved ones, and exploring new interests.

Dental Assistant
Merril joined the dental field in 2022 and provides an exceptional patient experience. She believes that education is key to a healthy smile and takes pride in helping patients feel confident and informed. When she isn’t at the clinic, Merril enjoys traveling the globe, immersing herself in different cultures, and discovering new cuisines.

Hi, I’m Mackenzie! I started working at Magical Smiles Pediatric Dentistry in September 2025. I’ve always had a special love for working with children and truly enjoy helping them feel comfortable, safe, and confident during their visits.
In my free time, I love reading and binge-watching new TV series. I’m excited to continue learning, growing, and making a positive impact every day.
